Ask and You Shall Receive

After I brainstormed when I was possibly going to be able to sneak into my parent's house again to get the pictures back, they emailed this morning saying they were going camping. I've got 2 huge boxes of unorganized photos to go through yet again and pick out all of the ones I used before.

I have to give myself a big pat on the back for this one. I think thus far I've snuck the pictures out without suspicion. I love the one that I did for my dad and I've watched it enough times that I'm pretty sure I can do it again. It makes me cry every time.

I've always had a pretty strained relationship with my parents. Since dd was born though, I've been able to understand so much of what they were always trying to do...their best. I've forgiven them for so much and am sure I will forgive for so much more in the coming years. Though no doubt I will make many mistakes as a parent, I've learned from some of their mistakes and I'm so grateful to them for that.
